Here is the list of four books that Elon Musk read

Elon Musk, “The Technoking of Tesla” is a huge inspiration for all those who know him. He is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc., founder of The Boring Company and X. com (which is a part of PayPal now), co-founder of Neuralink, OpenAI, and Zip2, he was the former chairman of SolarCity.

Elon Musk has become an inspiration for the youths today. He is a hard worker, smart worker, highly enthusiastic entrepreneur who wants to change the world and also wants to find out how life can be on Mars.

He is the busiest person I know and I wonder how he spares time to read. But yes, what I read about him in his biography by Ashlee Vance is that he was into reading from his childhood. He used to read almost the whole day.

In his interview with “Quest for Best” on youtube, he revealed that he likes biographies in general. According to him, biographies have got an interesting read and we learn a lot from biographies, it depends upon whose life we are reading about. He read the biographies of:

  1. Benjamin Franklin: Elon said that Benjamin is certainly one of his heroes. He is really a great guy. Franklin did what needed to be done. He was in different fields, he thought about what’s important right now and then worked upon it.

2.Steve Jobs: Elon said that Steve was an incredible guy, he used to take care of small things in his product because it is a fine product that makes people happy. Also, Steve affected the lives of millions of people in the field of electronics and music. He admires these qualities of Steve Jobs, Elon said.

He also reads other books and here I have mentioned 2 of them:

3. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Elon in his other interview revealed that when he was a teenager he was trying to find the meaning of life and he was sort of sad about it. Then he read this book and this book said that the universe is an answer and we just need to figure out the question, and then he added, “So if I can kind of figure out the question then that I consider that to be meaningful.”

4. Howard Hughes: according to Elon this book can be a “cautionary tale”. He saw the movie “The Aviator”. After that, he read this book. He found this book interesting.

Although I have mentioned just four books in this article, he has read so many and he reads so many books. In his interview, he also mentioned that he likes to read in hard copies but as he travels a lot, he also reads the books on his phone.

Elon not only reads books but he also watches movies, listens to different songs, plays games, etc. about which he often mentions on his Twitter handle.

I hope that you liked this article….Thank you for reading :)
