Building a Good Habit is Equal to Building Many Strengths
Making a routine is compulsory
This lockdown was not completely bad . Many things were there which happened good as well . Many of us have done or learnt so many new things , we spent so much time with our dear ones , we were able to develop new habits in our lives or so many things had been done by us about which we were thinking of but not able to do with our hectic schedule.
Some of us tried painting, photography , cooking , music , yoga or simply tried eating healthy food throughout this period . It was easy for us to develop a habit in this period when we were home and there was no hustle . We just had our own work .
I also tried many things in this lockdown. I was overweight when I checked my weight in December 2019. I decided to lose it and to get a fit body . For that I decided to eat healthy and exercise daily. I started doing it from the last week of that month . Lockdown period gave me some more free time to stick with it and become used to with this thing.
In my few months my cravings were high and also I was not able to convince myself to get up and exercise daily. But this time I wanted to do it at any cost and therefore I forced myself. Gradually, it became my habit and eventually after one year it is my lifestyle.
After one year and three months later I am writing this article with my experience that I just tried to develop a habit of eating well and exercise daily but it taught me so many things and changed my perspective in many ways . It taught me that :
Stay consistence with your work you will definitely see the results
Be patient and never be hasty for the results just focus on your work
It is not tough to control your mind
If you are able to make one good thing your life style then you can do anything at any stage of your life.
It is possible that I may not completely successful to write that what it brought in me when I developed a habit but when you get success in this task you find your self a little different.
Success in developing a habit makes a person :
Full of self confidence
Full of patience
Self — disciplined
Person knows how to control his mind .
Above written qualities are helpful for a good and balanced life. That is why we should pick a thing and make it a part of our daily routine and eventually our habit because that habit not only fulfil our one requirement but also helps us in achieving many goals in future by giving us so many strengths.
